Spring Valley (WQOW) - Funeral services are Saturday, February 11 for a western Wisconsin soldier.

Private First Class Josh Gokey, 29, from Spring Valley died last week at his home on Fort Bragg in North Carolina. According to his obituary, Gokey died unexpectedly from medical complications after undergoing surgery involving a broken leg. The cause of his death is under investigation by the U.S. Army.

Gokey was a paratrooper who joined the Army last March. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division.

Visitation is underway until 8:00 p.m. Friday, and the funeral, with full Military honors, is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Both are at Sacred Heart Church in Spring Valley.
