Eau Claire (WQOW) - A new restaurant could be coming in
to the city of Eau Claire.
A Chippewa Falls man has submitted an application
for a liquor license for a new restaurant inside the old outback steakhouse
building. The restaurant would be a Brazilian steakhouse named Picanha. Mark Reams
says he doesn't own any other restaurants, but would love to bring Brazilian
food to the area. He says the restaurant would serve a variety of
rotisserie-style meats that would be carved for each customer. He says he's in
the process of finalizing the lease with the building's owner, and hopes to
open the new restaurant by this spring.
The liquor license is up for review next week.
