Maryvale, Arizona (WQOW) -- It's tough to be anything but optimistic at this time of the year, but one big question surrounds the Milwaukee Brewers: are guys getting anxious to hear a decision about Ryan Braun's availability?
Braun is awaiting word from Major League Baseball on his appeal of a failed drug test. If that appeal is denied, Braun will have to sit out the first 50 games of the regular season.
"Really out of our hands, out of our control," says Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy, "so we're not going to worry about it if we don't have to, we're just going to wait and see what happens, hopefully, it comes out positive, and then we can move on."
"I mean, we're in the same place that everybody else is," says pitcher Yovani Gallardo, "we don't know what's going on, what the decision is going to be, but you know, obviously, once we find out, good or bad, hopefully, it's good, hopefully he'll be able to join us starting opening day but we'll see, I mean, after that decision is made, we have to adjust to it."
