Eau Claire (WQOW) - A home in Eau Claire owned by a couple with hoarding habits is being sanitized this week.
The Eau Claire City County Health Department says inspectors will take a look at the house on Cedar Street later this week or early next week.
Health officials say they never forced the couple to move out of the house, but volunteers helping clean this past week encouraged them to stay at their houses while the home is being sanitized.
The health department also says it's happy with the progress that has been made so far and will continue to work with the family to get them back in their home when it's safe to return.
