Seattle (WQOW) - Starbucks says it's working to create jobs at small businesses in America.
The coffee giant says it's sold more than 500,000 red, white and blue wristbands in the last three months. Proceeds go to lenders who give low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits.
Starbucks says the $2 million it's raised, combined with $5 million donated by the company, is expected to create 2,300 jobs.
