Hi friends, my name is Theresa! I'm a big girl with an even bigger heart. I am an American Bulldog mix, estimated to be about 5 years old. It has been a long, hard journey for me, but I am finally healthy and ready for my forever home. I arrived as a stray at the Dunn County Humane Society in November, and I was not in the best condition. The skin on my paws was inflamed and it was uncomfortable to walk and I had some oral masses in my mouth.
They gave me special food to help with my inflamed skin, and that slowly made me feel better. I was spayed and had the oral masses removed from my mouth. I was a sore girl for a while after that, but now I am healed and I'm better than ever! They tested my blood and found me to be something called hypothyroid. They told me it is not a big deal; I just need to take a little pill 2 times each day. I can do that!
I would really like to find someone who will make sure I eat food that wont make my allergies hurt me again, and who will make sure I have the pills that I need for my thyroid. I would really love a calm home with no other animals. If you feel I am the girl for you, I cant wait to meet you and impress you with my good manners. I will shake your hand with either paw, so no worries if you are left-handed! Please stop by the Dunn County Humane Society and meet me!
