MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man says his dog was stolen from his car that was parked outside of the east side Madison DMV on Monday afternoon.
Lars Forde told Madison police he left his windows down about three inches but locked the doors. When he came back the car was unlocked and his dog Blake was gone.
Forde returned to the DMV to see if they had security cameras that may have caught the suspect in the act, but he was told that they do not. Forde filed reports with Madison police, the Dane County Humane Society and Animal Services.
Blake is a six-month boxer/shepherd mix, and weighs about 35 pounds. He is black and gray brindle with a big white mark on his chest and has dark brown eyes. Forde only had Blake one week prior to this incident.
If you have information about Blake you're encouraged to contact
Lars Forde or call the Madison Police Department.
