MADISON (WKOW)--Naturalist John Muir was among the noted environmentalists to be inspired by his life in Wisconsin.
Muir moved to a farm in Marquette County with his family from Scotland when he was 11.
He later attended the University of Wisconsin before eventually moving west and becoming the renowned writer and Father of America's National Parks.
