MADISON (WKOW) -- As part of Earth Week we brought in Curt Meine from the Aldo Leopold Nature Center to discuss Leopold's historical impact locally and nationally.
Meine wrote the biography, "Aldo Leopold: His Life and Work". The biography follows Leopold from his childhood as a naturalist, to his influential role in the development of conservation and modern environmentalism in the United States.
Meine discussed the movement Leopold founded promoting the then new idea of an "environmental ethic".
