BARNEVELD, Wis. (WKOW) -
BARNEVELD (WKOW) -- Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve hosted an Earth Day celebration Saturday in Barneveld.
Visitors at the all-day event could learn about Wisconsin's native trees and how area land has changed over the years, and the sanctuary planted some trees and did a prairie burn.
"Earth Day is a great opportunity to be able to learn about the environment, to do hands on activities to improve environmental preservation & awareness," said Selena Fox, founder of Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve.
