River is a handsome black and white Border Collie who was surrendered to the Eau Claire County Humane Association in April. He is an extremely smart dog, but we are requiring that his new pet parent take him to obedience classes so that you both can communicate effectively with each other! River is a herding dog and this is something he enjoys doing. He will need lots of exercise and activities to keep him busy. Before leaving the shelter he will also need to be neutered. He's a sweetheart that would do great with any family, as long as he's the only pet! Stop by the shelter to check out River!
