
La Crosse (WQOW) -- In a game that lasted well over four hours, the Loggers outlasted the Express at Copeland Park 6-5 in 15 innings.
Eau Claire trailed 4-3 in the 9th inning when Alex Real smacked a solo home run to tie the game. The game stayed tied into the 15th inning, when Tyler Wampler's RBI single gave the Express the 5-4 lead. But in the bottom of the 15th inning, Boomer Collins hit a two-run walk off home run. came up with the game-winning RBI. The Express used five different pitchers in the loss, with Drew Ghelfi drawing the loss.
The Express return to Carson Park for a four-game home stand starting Thursday against the Loggers. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
