
Eau Claire (WQOW) -- The Express scored runs in bursts Saturday in Carson Park, scoring three runs in both the 3rd and 7th innings to beat Green Bay.
The Express had good offense across the board, with every batter except catcher Frank Salas coming up with a hit. Casey Gillaspie broke the game open in the 7th with a two-run home run to give the Express the lead for good. Starter Jordan Kipper pitched 6 innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on eight hits. Matt Southard is credited with the win.
Eau Claire is back in action Sunday afternoon against Green Bay. Game time is set for 3:05 p.m.
