Dunn County (WQOW) - The man accused of stabbing a woman and leaving her for dead along a Dunn County road is going to prison.

Juan Castro, of Ladysmith, was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison. Castro was charged with stabbing Deanna Simmons in the neck and chest.

The Ladysmith woman was found bleeding heavily near Colfax in May 2011.
