Brandon Hohl's 8th inning grand slam off Eau Claire reliever Devin Moore is the difference, as the Rafters win their sixth straight game.
The Express gets a 1st inning RBI from Alex Real to grab an early lead, then Eau Claire extends the margin on a 2nd inning, 3-run HR off the bat of Nick Addison.
Express starter Andrew Hedrick loses his shutout in the 6th after giving up a solo HR to Brandon Downes.
Moore works a scoreless 7th, before giving up three straight 8th inning singles prior to Hohl's homer.
The two teams continue their series Tuesday with a 6:35 P.M. game at Carson Park in Eau Claire.
