EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) - The handbook that is replacing collective bargaining for the Eau Claire Area School District has been approved.
Monday night the school board worked through the handbook section by section, covering issues like sick leave, vacation and work hours. There were minor changes made to each of the sections. For example, the handbook originally said the "district" reserves the right to change things like policies and procedures. They changed the language from "district" to "board."
Over fifty people were in attendance and at least twenty teachers spoke.
