Pierce Co. (Press Release) -- On Thursday, June 21 at 2:29 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff's Department was notified of a one-vehicle rollover with ejection on CTH G, about a half mile east of 110th Ave. in Spring Lake.
It was learned through the investigation at the scene that the lone operator, 21-year-old Laura Wood of Elmwood, was traveling westbound on CTH G when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled and she was ejected.
Wood was transported from the scene to a landing zone, where North Memorial Air Care flew her to Regions Hospital for undetermined injuries.
Agencies assisting at the scene were Elmwood Ambulance and Fire Department, Ellsworth Area Paramedics and North Memorial Air Care.
The crash is still under investigation.
