TREMPEALEAU COUNTY (press release) - At 3:30 PM on June 21st, Strum First Responders,
Fire Department and Osseo Ambulance along with Mayo One Helicopter and the Trempealeau
County Sheriff's Department responded to an accident with injuries involving a
motorcycle.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the operator had turned
his head to talk to his female passenger and did not notice the car ahead of
him slowing to make a left turn. The motorcycle operator lost control ejecting both
parties off the motorcycle.
Neither party was wearing a helmet and the female passenger
sustained head injuries and was flown by Mayo One to an Eau Claire area hospital. The operator
sustained minor injuries and refused all medical treatment while at the scene.
