Jail time, no driving for man who crashed vehicle into house

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Sentencing this week for an Eau Claire driver who crashed into a house.

The vehicle crashed into a home at Keith and Lexington in December. No one was hurt. The homeowner woke up to the sound of the crash then saw the vehicle backing out of his living room and driving away.

Police caught up with Michael Shymanski a short time later. He was sentenced this week for third offense drunk driving. Shymanski was ordered to pay for the damage to the house, spend two months in jail, and can't drive for two years.
