
Tim Zier scores in the 2ndGreen Bay (WQOW) -- It goes from bad to worst for the Express on Friday. After scoring the first two runs of the game, Eau Claire gives up the next 16 to lose it's fifth straight game.
The 16 runs allowed comes one night after Eau Claire lost 17-2. They have now been outscored 33-4 in the last two games. Matt Trowbridge had his worst outing of the season, allowing 6 runs in four innings. Relief pitching continued to hurt the Express, as reliever Devin Moore gave up seven runs in the fifth inning. The team added six more errors in the loss.
Eau Claire looks to take the final game of the series Saturday at Johannes Stadium. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
