Chippewa County (WQOW)- Police arrested a man early Saturday morning after he broke into the home of his ex girlfriend and fired a gun shot.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says 31 year old Adam Loew broke into his ex-girlfriend's house around 2 a.m. Saturday morning, armed with a shotgun. He then pointed the shotgun at the ex-girlfriend and another male as they were in bed. The male was able to get the shotgun away from Loew, but not before the gun fired a shot. No one was hurt, but the bullet did go through a wall where a child was sleeping. Loew then fled from the home and hopped in his car, but was arrested a short time later by police in Bloomer. The ex-girlfriend did have an active restraining order against Loew.
