Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - An area public pool was shut down this weekend.

The Chippewa Falls public pool was closed after a transmission broke on the main water pump on Friday. Chippewa falls' city parks and recreations director says he has already ordered a replacement. The new transmission arrives on Monday. Hebert expects the pool to re-open again on Tuesday.
