Eau Claire announces finalists for City Manager position

Eau Claire (WQOW)- The city of Eau Claire is looking to fill a top job. On Tuesday three finalists for the city manager job were announced. 

The finalists are Dale Peters, who is well known among city circles.  He's the Assistant City Manager and Director of Human Resources for the city of Eau Claire. 

Another candidate is Stephen Rymer, the Director of Community Services in the city of Morgan Hill, California.

Russell Van Gompel, the Village Manager for Brown Deer, Wisconsin rounds out the list.

All three finalists will go through another round of interviews.  The city council plans to make an appointment within the next month.
