Clark County (WQOW) - A truck driver will serve three months behind bars for his role in a fatal Clark County crash.
Dennis Martin was found guilty of homicide by negligent driving back in February. Martin was accused of driving past a yield sign and colliding with a van driven by Joan Beyer. The Loyal woman was killed.
Experts estimated Martin's speed at the time of the crash to be more than 55 miles per hour. The crash happened in July of 2009.
Besides jail time, Martin was sentenced to 240 hours of community service. He is also ordered to pay restitution and court costs. His driver's license is also revoked for one year.
