Clark County (WQOW) - A California man faces charges for sexual assault of a child in Clark County after fathering a child with the underage victim.

Christopher Shinkle faces two felony charges for crimes dating back more than a decade. According to court documents, the victim went to live with Shinkle when she was 11-years old. In 1997, just before the victim turned 13-years old, Shinkle allegedly started sexually assaulting her. Shinkle told her he would kick her out of the house if she didn't comply. When the victim was 15-years old, she gave birth to child fathered by Shinkle.

Shinkle is currently living in Lewiston, California. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
