NEW YORK (WKOW) -- People across the
U.S. are trying to get fit by using "The Bar Method." It's a fitness routine that's similar
to how dancers stretch and exercise.
Most classes are an hour-long. They're
designed to combine dance conditioning, interval training, isometrics and
sports rehab, which burns fat fast and carves muscles.
"So at the end of the hour,
you've worked the entire muscles, all large muscle groups, burning a lot of
calories and working to elongate and completely change the look of your
body," said "Bar Method"
Instructor Kate Arnold.
People who've taken bar fitness classes say
they've enjoyed the conditioning and feel like they've achieved the look of a
dancer's body.
