Jackson Co. man gets life in prison for repeated sexual assault of a child

Jackson County (WQOW)- A Jackson County man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a series of sexual assaults that went on for fifteen years.

Rodney Tollefson was convicted of assaulting a girl from the time she was four years old, until she was 19.  He was sentenced Friday to 115 years in prison.  Tollefson was also convicted of helping three other men all sexually assault the child.

His former roommate, Jarrod Peterson, was sentenced Friday to five years in prison.

Tollefson's brother, Gary Tollefson, will be sentenced next month on two sexual assault convictions.
