SPOONER -- It's time to dust off your cowboy hat, the Spooner Rodeo is just around the corner.
Now in its 59th year, the Rodeo includes competition all three days, along with live music, a parade and a nickel scramble. Kicking off the event will be the "Exceptional Rodeo" which allows kids with special needs to participate in modified rodeo events.
Spooner Rodeo Queen Beth Kujala says, "It's all professional rodeo, so it's all professional athletes, a lot of them might actually end up advancing to national finals rodeo, so it's really great competition and they have huge prize money, so a lot of people are competing, it's a great event."
The Spooner Rodeo runs July 5th through the 7th at the Washburn County Fairgrounds. Visit our contest page to win tickets!
