Eau Claire (WQOW) - The community is getting a chance to meet the finalists for the top job in the Eau Claire school district.
The district is currently searching for a new superintendent to replace Dr. Ron Heilmann who retired earlier this month. A pair of community forums has been set up for residents to interact with and ask questions of the two candidates.
The first forum is Monday night and will feature Dr. Mary Ann Hardebeck. The forum is at Memorial High School in the Little Theater. It runs from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
The second forum is Tuesday night featuring Dr. Mark Mitrovich. It also starts at 7:00 PM and is being held at Memorial High School.
Dr. Hardebeck currently serves as the assistant superintendent in Leesburg, Virginia. Dr. Mitrovich has spent the past three years as the superintendent of a school in Naperville, Illinois.
