Three injured in one vehicle rollover crash

Chippewa County (Press Release) - A mini-van was traveling westbound on State Highway 29. For unknown reasons the driver went into the median and then tried to get back onto the paved road.

The driver lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to slide across the westbound lanes of traffic, enter the north ditch and overturn.

The driver, Helga Seeliger, 70, of Crystal Lake, Ill., and her two passengers, Regina Roth, 48, and Sophie Roth, 14, both of Germany were all transported with injuries to Mayo Eau Claire. It is not believed that the injuries are life threatening. All occupants were wearing seat belts.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage. One lane of State Highway 29 westbound was blocked for approximately 1 hour.

This accident is still under investigation.
