Chad Hanson Going From Greenwood/Granton To Eleva-Strum

Strum (WQOW) -- Chad Hanson coached the Greenwood/Granton football team to a WIAA Division 7 state title last November, but when high school practice begins next month, Hanson will have a new program to coach.

Hanson's heading home, he'll take over at his alma mater, Eleva-Strum. Hanson had coached at Greenwood for the past eight seasons, where he did quite a good job in rebuilding the program. The Indians went from 0-9 in 2009, to state champs in 2011.

Prior to his time in Greenwood, Hanson was a former assistant coach in the Eleva-Strum football program
