Mequon (WQOW) -- The Express picked up a rare road win, beating the Chinooks 6-3 on Saturday.
Eau Claire's offense threw the first punch. The team scored three runs in the fourth inning, then added a Tim Zier solo home run in the fifth to lead 4-0. Will Fadness was solid at the plate, going 3-5 with and RBI and two runs scored. Alex Real was 2-4 with a pair of RBIs.
On the mound, Bryan Crabb drew his first start since early June and made the most of it. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out seven Chinooks batters.
