Chippewa Falls (WQOW)- The city of Chippewa Falls is taking steps to help boost growth at a local business.
On Tuesday the Chippewa Falls city council met in closed session where they agreed to draft a developer's agreement between the city and Premium Waters. The company, which bottles Chippewa Springs water, is looking at adding a third bottling line in Chippewa Falls. The company is considering purchasing a building it now uses as a warehouse and adding the bottling equipment. The expansion project has the potential to create more than twenty jobs over the next several years
The city council plans to offer a financial incentive to help pay for the multi-million dollar project. The developers agreement could be approved at the council's next meeting on August 7th.
