Charlotte, North Carolina (WQOW) -- Eau Claire native Paul Menard is looking ahead to his next race on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Circuit, at a place where he took his first checkered flag.
With no Sprint Cup race this weekend, Menard and his team are looking ahead to the Brickyard 400 on July 29. Menard was the 2011 winner at the Brickyard, a place where his family has a rich racing history.
Menard says the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is his favorite track, but what he's really looking for is a strong showing to move up in the Sprint Cup points standings. Menard is currently fifteenth.
