Rock Fest sees unique campsites

Posted:

Cadott (WQOW) - It's day one of the nineteenth annual Rock Fest. And while the acts up on stage are entertaining, a stroll through the campground might be just as good.

Some spent hours, others days, preparing their campsites. A quick walk through and you'll see RV's, campers, tents, double decker buses, tiki bars, swimming pools, and even a one million dollar guitar collection.

"I've got 53 guitars autographed by 170 bands. As for what its worth? It's priceless to me, I've never sold anything. Everything I've got I've just kept," Johnson said.

Johnson says on any given day he can have upwards of 700 people come through his trailer to look at the guitars. Tonight's Rock Fest headliner is Shinedown. Some other big name acts include: Godsmack, Alice Cooper, and Def Leppard.
