Eau Claire (WQOW) - A western Wisconsin man is dead in a crash that claimed two lives.

Jonathan Timblin, 20, of Rice Lake died in the crash Monday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol says his car was hit head-on by a mini-van that crossed the center line. The driver of the van, Alva Rankin, 61, of Lake Nebagamon, Wis., also died.

A passenger in Timblin's car, Alexandria Lund, 18, of Cameron, is in critical condition. The crash happened on Highway 48 in Pine County, Minnesota - which is across the border from Wisconsin's Burnett County.

On Tuesday, July 24 at 8:30 p.m. there will be a candlelight vigil at the Cameron High School in memory of Jon Timblin and prayers for Alexandria Lund. Organizers ask that anyone attending bring a candle.
