Douglas County (WQOW)- An ATV crash has killed a recent UW Stout graduate.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Department says David M. Smith was driving an ATV on a town road on Sunday when he met an oncoming vehicle. His ATV went off the road and Smith was thrown from it. He was 23.

Smith was a track and field athlete at UW Stout, and graduated in May. Funeral services will be Friday in Superior.
