Madison (WKOW) - The numbers are in for spending on Wisconsin's recall races.

A report released by the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign finds that Republicans and Governor Walker spent nearly $59 million dollars. Tom Barrett and his Democratic supporters spent $22 million.

The money spent on Walker's race was more than double the previous record spending of $37 million dollars in his 2010 campaign.

In total, the government watchdog group says the 15 recall races in 2011 and this year cost $137 million dollars.
