Eau Claire (WQOW) -- The Express plays one of its better games of the season, knocking out 15 hits in a 12-2 thumping of the Chinooks, in front of 2,298 fans at Carson Park.

Seven Eau Claire players have two hits apiece, while Jimmy Allen and Nick Addison each have 3 RBI.  Allen and Josh Scheffert slug homers for the Express. 

Devin Moore gives Eau Claire a quality start, as he scatters seven hits over six innings, allowing two runs while striking out five.

Game two of the series between the Chinooks and Express is set for 6:25 P.M., Friday, at Carson Park.
