Eau Claire (WQOW)- Firefighters are needed to put out a fire in an Eau Claire parking lot Monday.
A fire started in the back of a garbage truck on Eau Claire's north side. Firefighters believe some of the garbage got too close to the truck's exhaust stack and ignited. The garbage was dumped in a parking lot on McIntyre Avenue, where firefighters went to work on putting out the burning trash.
