Eau Claire (WQOW) - One of the men connected to a big
marijuana bust is sentenced Tuesday. Derek Amoroso of Balsam Lake got
two months in jail.
Last October, Barron County investigators stopped Amoroso
and three other men as they left the home of a suspected drug dealer. A pound of marijuana was found in their
vehicle.
Another eight pounds of pot was found
in the home of Rodrigo Hernandez-Amador. It had a street value of $25,000.
Hernandez-Amador was sentenced earlier to five months in
jail and faced deportation.
