Meet The Express: Matt Trowbridge

Eau Claire (WQOW) -- Matt Trowbridge is in his first Northwoods League season with the Express after finishing his freshman year at Central Michigan University.

"It's a big experience," says Trowbridge, "that's the one thing you learn in college, it's not just the day you're on the mound that's a big day. Every day is a big day. You can always work on something to improve, whether it's mechanically or mentally or just in the bullpen doing dry work. So you just need to make sure you get yourself better every day and hopefully it shows up on the mound when you get that chance."

Trowbridge, a native of Mokena, Illinois, says he's enjoyed his summer in Eau Claire.

"I really love it here, everything has been awesome," says Trowbridge, "you're playing pretty much the best players in the country all around. Just being a part of this team and going on the roadtrips, just experiencing every part of this league has been awesome and I really wouldn't want anything more."
