Eau Claire (WQOW) -- Nick Addison's 3-run homer in the bottom of the 8th lifts the Express to a win over the Rafters in front of 3,415 fans at Carson Park.

Addison's opposite field shot onto the fan deck in right atones for his error in center field in the top half of the inning, which allows Brandon Hohl to score Wisconsin Rapids' second run of the game.

Express reliever Tony Vocca earns the win, while Paul Voelker picks up the save by working a scoreless 9th, striking out Kenny Towns and Brandon Downes to end it.

Andrew Hedrick gives Eau Claire a quality start, allowing one run on three hits, while striking out six, with four walks.   

The Express is now 20-0 in games in which the team has taken a lead into the 9th inning.

Eau Claire will visit Wisconsin Rapids in a 7:05 P.M. game Tuesday.
