MADISON (WKOW) -- The American Red Cross reminds donors about one more important summer destination: a local blood drive.
The Red Cross says eligible donors can give blood every 56 days, but most give less than twice a year. The agency needs those donations to help local hospitals, especially heading into the Labor Day holiday.
To donate blood, you can call (800) RED-CROSS (733-2767) or visit their website.
