Chippewa County (WQOW) - A burglary and a car deal lead to felony charges against a man in Chippewa County.

Investigators believe Rocky Ralston stole $24,000 worth of items from a residence near Holcombe. The stolen items included tools, a trailer, a hot tub, and other items.

Ralston then allegedly traded some of the stolen property in exchange for a car. Authorities believe the car owner did not know the items were stolen. Ralston is charged with theft by fraud in that case.
