Predators Prepare For Elite Bowl V

Eau Claire (WQOW) -- For the third time in the last five seasons, the Chippewa Valley Predators will play for a Northern Elite Football League title.

And for a second straight season, the Preds are playing the St. Paul Pioneers in the Elite Bowl.

St. Paul won at Carson Park last year. Chippewa Valley hopes to return the favor Saturday at Sea Foam Stadium, on the Concordia University campus.

"We're very confident," says Predators head coach Martin T. Adams, "the biggest thing about this game that is very clear at this point is that it's anybody's trophy. As soon as that whistle blows, they take the trophy and they put it upstairs and we're going to do what we can to get it. And may the best team win."

Elite Bowl V is set to kick off at 6:00 P.M., Saturday.
