Eau Claire (WQOW) -- Josh Scheffert ties an Express franchise record with six runs batted in, as Eau Claire defeats Madison, 9-6, in front of 2,032 fans at Carson Park.

Scheffert gets the scoring started with a two-run homer in the first inning. He adds RBI singles in the 3rd and 4th, and caps off his night with a 2-run double in the 6th.

The Express pounds out 12 hits off of three Mallards pitchers, with Tim Zier, Jimmy Allen, and Nick Addison delivering the other RBI for Eau Claire.

Express starter Philip Walby earns the win, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks. Walby strikes out eight Madison hitters.

Eau Claire closes out its series with the Mallards in a 6:35 P.M. game, Saturday, at Carson Park.
