NWL Monday: Loggers 13, Express 4

La Crosse (WQOW) -- The Express falls behind 11-3 after one inning, and loses for the eighth time in nine games to the Loggers.

Ty Forney's first inning, 3-run homer gives Eau Claire a short-lived lead, but La Crosse responds with 11 runs in the bottom half of the frame.

La Crosse native and Express starter Drew Ghelfi gets shelled for nine runs on six hits in just two-thirds of an inning of work. 

Eau Claire closes out the home portion of the 2012 Northwoods League schedule with a three-game series against Green Bay, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Carson Park.  All three games will begin at 6:35 P.M.
