Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - The alleged mastermind behind a Stanley prison escape was in court today.

Eddie Evans is charged with forging documents that shortened the length of his extended supervision, along with the prison sentences of two other inmates. Evans had his preliminary hearing today where a Chippewa County Judge ruled that there is enough evidence for him to go to trial. He entered a plea of not guilty. A trial date could be set tomorrow.
