Eau Claire (WQOW) -- The Express finished out the home schedule of its season by just missing its first three-game sweep of the year.
Green Bay scored the first three runs of the game off of Eau Claire starter Philip Walby, but the Express would score the next four to take the lead. Green Bay responded with two runs in the fifth to regain the lead. Walby lasted just 4.1 innings, allowing just two hits but he walked eight Bullfrogs in the game.
The Express tied the game up in the 8th, but Green Bay came back to score a pair of runs in the top of the 9th to go up 8-6. Eau Claire was able to get a run in the bottom of the inning, but was unable to complete the comeback.
